Why do you think Okonwo killed himself and what do you think were factors to drive him to do it? Also how is ignorance soon by the commisioner?

Okonkwo had been sent back to his mother's land. While living there he was spoken to by Uchendu. Uchendu was asking questions and speaking to him the way that Okonkwo has spoken to others. Why is it that when Uchendu gets to speak to him like that and he does not talk back? Do you think Okonkwo would have acted differently if he wasn't in his mother's land?
